TOURING AUSTRALIA 2023
One World Entertainment are thrilled to announce the inaugural Boardwalk Country Music Festival. This very special concert event will showcase some of the most celebrated names in the Australian & International country music scene. Boardwalk Country Music Festival will be predominantly staged at some of Australia’s favourite open-air locations.
The first ever Boardwalk Country Music Festival is poised to become a prominent annual music event on the Australian country music calendar. To kick it all off, one of USA’s biggest rising country stars & GRAMMY® nominated singer Jimmie Allen will headline, and GRAMMY® nominated, multiplatinum American singer/songwriter, Gavin DeGraw, will be another addition to the line-up. They will be joined onstage by some of our country’s biggest & best local artists, including Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers, Busby Marou, Shannon Noll, The Wolfe Brothers, Casey Barnes, The Buckleys & Darlinghurst.
Boardwalk Music Festival promises to deliver a cracking day out in a relaxed, fun filled environment – it’s the perfect event to kick back and witness some of country music’s finest artists. The locations will be topped up with food trucks and pop-up boutique bars to create the ultimate festival experience. And if you love country music, Boardwalk will be the place to be.
Jimmie Allen exploded onto the country music scene with his 2018 single, “Best Shot” which went on to become No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. Since then, he has released multiple albums and EPs and won many awards, including New Artist trophies from the Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association. In 2021, Jimmie took home the new artist of the year award at the CMA Awards as well as ACM New Male Artist of the Year. He also landed his third No. 1 single on country radio and co-hosted the ACM Awards with Dolly Parton and Gabby Barrett. In 2022, Jimmie was nominated for Best New Artist at the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards - the only country artist to receive the honour that year.
Gavin DeGraw’s inimitable voice and soulful style boldly bloomed on his 2003 platinum-certified full-length debut, Chariot. It included the gold single “Follow Through,” as well as both platinum hits, “Chariot,” and “I Don’t Want To Be.” In 2008, his self-titled second album, Gavin, bowed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 powered by the platinum-selling single “In Love With a Girl.” 2011’s gold-certified Sweeter saw him return to the Top 10 as the single “Not Over You” went four times platinum. Meanwhile, his 2013 duet with Colbie Caillat, “We Both Know,” garnered a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Song Written For Visual Media” for Safe Haven. He’s the rare talent who could seamlessly share the stage with Billy Joel and The Allman Brothers or Maroon 5 and Shania Twain. In 2016, Something Worth Saving incited widespread critical applause from USA Today, Billboard, Entertainment Tonight, and Huffington Post. With a front row seat to this wonderfully wild life led by his late parents Lynne and John Wayne, Gavin recounts his most meaningful memories and valuable lessons on his seventh full-length offering, Face The River [RCA Records]. Now, he stitches together a timeless tale of his own sound tracked by a signature fusion of pop, soul, country, folk and funk.
