HOW DO I GET THERE?

PICA is located approx 8.0km from Melbourne CBD, a 16 minute drive via Kings Way/Princes Hwy/A60. Large crowds & heavy traffic is expected in and around PICA.

SHUTTLE BUS

A free shuttle bus will be running to the show with first departure from the bus stop near Southern Cross Station at around 5pm until 7.30pm. 

 

Please note THE BUS WILL NOT RUN between 7pm-8.30pm.  There are limited spaces available on the shuttle.

​

Return shuttles will be available from PICA at around 8.30pm, until all patrons have departed the venue.

 

To catch the catch the shuttle to the show, go to the bus stop which will be located on Collins Street at the southern end of Southern Cross Station.  The shuttle bus will set passengers down at this same location on the return trip.

 

A high number of patrons are expected to be attending the event so it’s essential to plan your trip in advance and work out how you are getting to and from the venue.

 

Uber & Taxi drop off is on the corner of Thackray Road & Woolboard Road. Please follow the road VMS signs.

 

RIDESHARE / TAXI ZONES

Event rideshare / taxi location will incorporate specific traffic treatments. Due to the anticipated high utilisation of the roads around the venue, the designated vehicle drop off zone is to be at 12 Thackray Road, Port Melbourne, to the entry of the Festival site at PICA.  Correctly identified taxi and rideshare vehicles will be allowed access.

 

PUBLIC DROP OFF & PICK UP

The designated Drop Off and Pick Up zone will ONLY be allowed at 12 Thackray Road, Port Melbourne.

 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Public transport will be available via bus to Salmon Street & Williamstown Road from various suburbs in Metropolitan Melbourne.

 

The closest Tram stop is Stop 128.

 

We recommend you utilise the Journey Planner available on Public Transport Victoria’s website to plan your route to the festival: https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/journey/

 

PARKING

No Parking is available on site. It is recommended you utilise rideshare and the pickup / drop off zone.

 

There will be free street parking on Salmon Street, Rocklea Drive and surrounding streets along with Free public car park parking is located on Salmon Street Frontage Road.

 

Strictly NO event parking on Woolboard Road or Thackray Road, any cars that park here will be towed.

BOX OFFICE

The Box Office is located at the concert entry point and will be open from 60 minutes prior to gates opening until the headline artist commences. If you have any issues with your ticket please make yourself known to box office staff

 

Please have your ticket printed and ready for scanning at the gates, or alternatively have the barcode ready on your phone with the device brightness turned up.

TICKETING POLICY

The official ticketing agency's for this event are OZTIX and Ticketek. We take no responsibility for tickets purchased outside of the official agencies. Tickets purchased through third parties such as Viagogo, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, Ebay or other sites are done so at the customer’s own risk. Fraudulent tickets will not be honored. Once a ticket purchase is completed there are no refunds or exchanges available. In purchasing a ticket to this event the purchaser acknowledges that any government mandates, public health orders or inability to attend due to illness or other changed circumstances does not render the purchaser eligibility for a refund or exchange.

MERCHANDISE

Our merchandise stand will be located inside the venue with a large range of official merchandise

AGE RESTRICTIONS

This event is strictly 18+.  Underage persons will not be permitted entry.

ACCESSIBILITY

Upon presentation of a Companion Card, ticket purchasers are entitled to an additional ticket for their respective carer.

 

The Companion Card must be presented alongside the issued ticket to gain entry to the event.

 

Dedicated entry lanes will be available to those in possession of a Disability Card or Companion Card.

 

Guide Dogs are permitted on festival grounds to valid Disability Card or Companion Card holders.

 

The event grounds are wheelchair accessible, however please be aware that this is a large and partially outdoor event that may require travelling on varied terrain, of concrete.

 

Good quality audio is available throughout the site for all patrons.

Accessible Parking is available to Blue Badge holders via registration with Promoter & Venue.

 

Accessible Parking cannot be organised on event days.

 

The car park will be operational between the hours of 5:00pm – 11:30pm.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

It is a condition of entry that all bags and personal belongings are presented to Security Staff for inspection. Patrons detected with contraband items such as alcohol will be refused entry without refund. Please also note that the event has a no pass out policy so please come prepared.

  • Refillable water bottle (no glass) and must be empty on arrival

  • Appropriate and comfortable clothing for warm or cool conditions

  • Bank card. Contactless payments are preferred by bar, food and merchandise outlets.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Portable seating of any kind

  • Tables, esky’s or coolers, tents or sun shelters

  • Alcohol, illicit and synthetic drugs

  • Prescription drugs that are not in original container and without the pharmacy stickers issued in the name of the ticket holder

  • Glass, aluminium or metal containers

  • Liquids other than lotions (empty water bottles that are not glass/ Aluminium or metal are permitted)

  • Professional Audio /Visual Recording Devices (excluding mobile phones and go pros)

  • Flags & Poles

  • Promotional materials- stickers & flyers

  • Weapons or dangerous items including Laser pointers or selfie sticks

  • Flares & Fireworks

  • Bicycles, skateboards, surfboards, hoverboards, scooters or personalised motor vehicles.

  • Animals (excluding authorised guide companion dogs)

Additional items may be found prohibited at the discretion of event security guards. All items deemed prohibited excluding illegal substances must be either disposed of, or removed from site.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

  • All licensing, RSA and any other matters relating to the service of alcohol are handled by
    the licensee and bar operator.  

  • This is a  18+ licensed event. All patrons entering the site must provide photo ID to secure an 18+ wristband, all persons unable to provide ID will be refused entry.

  • Any variation to the above will cause a minor to be handed to Police. 

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

Food and Beverage will be available within the venue.

MEDICAL

First aid and Medical will be avaliable at the venue. Please check the Patron Map.
